MONDO RESTAURANT OPENS IN MIDDLETOWN’S LANDMARK SQUARE

October 25, 2010 --- Middletown, CT - The owners of Naples Pizza of Farmington are pleased to announce the opening of their new restaurant MONDO of Middletown. MONDO follows in the footsteps of its sister restaurant, Naples of Farmington, CT established in 1995. Naples, a beloved family-friendly destination, has been consistently known for producing high quality, delicious pizzas and Italian–style dishes. Founder and owner Kurt Kruczek has taken this concept with its award winning New York Style thin crust, delicious pizza and expanded on it. Mondo has an open kitchen and a cozy wine and beer bar that creates a fun and inviting place. In addition, MONDO will soon feature local, late-night live music.

MONDO serves much more than just delicious pizza. Head Chef, David Noad, who trained in Italian cuisine at Bricco and Grants of West Hartford has created an extensive menu that features Tuscan Salad with Fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes, olives, artichokes & polenta croutons with balsamic vinaigrette, Lobster Sandwich with Chunked lobster, havarti cheese & onion on grilled sourdough, and Bolognese, MONDO’s take on a classic rigatoni bolognese. MONDO also feature homemade soups, a variety of panini , fresh salads and Artisan pizza’s. Kid’s menu and Take-Out available.
